About Our Speakers

Here's what our speakers have to say...

"It was great to meet you all at the Rudding Park Hotel yesterday, and thanks so much for your ‘hospitality’ in welcoming me into the group. It was good to work with such a bunch of enthusiastic people – the sort of people I like!"

Andy Hanselman

"It has been said that Passion is born the moment you catch sight of your potential!

Well, within minutes of starting my presentation to the Business Alliance group on “Setting Important Goals & Succeeding on Purpose” I knew that despite their already considerable success there remained massive untapped potential in the room.

They were my kind of people and we were going to enjoy each other’s company.

The group dynamics were electric, with a cohesive but also competitive spirit and a willingness to embrace new challenges, both individually and as a collective.

It was fun watching the sparks fly and the humour evolve as they rose to the task they were set.

The energy the group generated in the room was palpable and lead to lively debate and supportive encouragement to dig deeper, go harder and set themselves challenging goals in all the important areas of both business life and personal life.

As individuals and as a formidable group they epitomised for me, the qualities of Passionate Leaders by demonstrating a tough optimistic enthusiasm that overcomes negativity and inconvenience and empowers them to succeed!

It was a privilege to share part of their strategy day with them."

Andy McMenemy, KeynoteSpeaker, ChangeFacilitator, BusinessMentorandCoach

"Frankly when I heard you describe the rolling Chair approach and how meetings went forward largely without the firm hand of a Chair I had some serious questions about the format. I was wrong.  I loved the free flowing interactive format… if fact I guess, thinking about it, that this is what I aim for in my meetings.  Given your retention rate , which is better than most other groups with which I work, you clearly have a format that works!"

Chris Hughes, Vistage Chairman

“Individually Strong: Together we are Stronger”

"Thank you very much for inviting me back to a Business Alliance meeting today, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I was extremely lucky to have been ‘in’ the Business Alliance and got a great deal out of it over many years and feel very privileged to have been part of it."

Jamie Bentley, Chief Executive, Stephenson Group

Thanks again for having me in to chat to the BA group.   It really is a good one and the questions asked got Me thinking on my drive over to Hull afterwards – I love it when I feel interested and challenged by the people I’m talking to.

Jamie Peacock, Carpe Diem

Jamie Peacock MBE, is a retired English professional rugby league footballer who played for Leeds Rhinos and Bradford Bulls in the Super League and captained both Great Britain and England at international level

"A fantastic day with a fantastic group! The fact that the Business Alliance members know each other so well, meant all were open about their respective business issues and felt comfortable with challenging each other, plus offer lots of constructive suggestions to help and support too.

A talented and successful group who came with open minds, receptiveness to new ideas and advice given and who were all up for some lively, honest and inspiring discussions! A pleasure to work with and I sincerely hope to work with all at Business Alliance again in the future”

Wendy Munt, Retail Expert, Be Inspired Consulting Ltd
